FotoIstanbul 2016 Instagram Photography Contest is held in collaboration with Fotoistanbul, The Everyday Projects and Canon.

About:
In its second year and in collaboration with The Everyday Projects, FotoIstanbul announces its Instagram photo competition. This competition is open to anyone around the world with access to Instagram.
Deadline:
Submissions are accepted between July 22, 2016 and August 21, 2016. Submissions close at 18:00 Eastern European Time Zone (Turkey time).
Judging:
A distinguished and independent panel from The Everyday Projects will select
the best images for the preliminary round of the judging. Once the first round is
completed the images selected by The Everyday Projects jury will be posted on
FotoIstanbul’s Facebook page. At this point the public is invited to participate in
the second round of judging. For this round the public (everyone, everywhere) is
invited to visit Fotoistanbul’s Facebook account and LIKE the best images.
There will be no limit to the number of images one can LIKE on FotoIstanbul’s
Facebook page. At the end of the public judging round, the top three images with
the most number of “LIKE”s will be announced as winners. Public judging period
ends on September 25, 2016.
Prizes:
The first place winner will be awarded a Canon EOS 6D 24-105 STM, the second place winner will be awarded a Canon Powershot G3X,and the third place winner will be awarded aCanon EOS M3 18-55mm. Fotoistanbul will arrange for the delivery of prizes to the winners. Winners may be subjected to various taxes and tariffs depending on each winner’s country of residence and/or citizenship. Fotoistanbul, its affiliates, and sponsors will not be responsible for such taxes and tariffs. And also 50 finalists will be exhibited at Fotoistanbul 2016 starting Oct. 1 in Istanbul, Turkey.

The winners will be announced publicly on Fotoistanbul’s Facebook page on
September 26, 2016.
